I am beyond excited to share the beautiful photos from Angie and John's wedding day! Angie and I became close friends when we went through the teaching credential program at UCSD. In the midst of studying and student teaching, we would often talk about our weekend plans with the boyfriend and what the future holds. I am so happy that those daydreams turned into a dream come true for Angie and John in September when they said their vows to each other. They truly support one another and they are a great pair together!

The day started with the ladies getting ready together at La Pensione Hotel. The bridesmaids spent the morning getting their hair and make-up done, checking out the pretty necklace they were gifted by Angie, and even pitched in to groom one of the groomsmen! I love the way they coordinated blue dress shirts to get ready in so that their hair and make-up would stay nice and neat when they changed to their dresses later on. Angie looks so elegant and absolutely gorgeous in her off-the-shoulder lace sheath wedding dress!

John and his groomsmen look handsome in these clean grey suits. Their ties match well with John's navy blue suit. The look is finished off with a single large white rose boutonnière. The ceremony was held on the Botanical Garden Lawns at Balboa Park. The Botanical Building was an iconic San Diego backdrop for the wedding. The arch and aisleways were decorated with floral arrangements featuring white hydrangeas, pink lilies, white and pink roses, and some blush orchids.

During cocktail hour, Angie and John slipped away with the photographers to take some more photos with scenic Balboa Park. It was just a quick walk for guests over to the Museum of Photographic Arts to find their seats at the reception. The rest of the night was filled with tasty food, a fun kissing game, dancing, and silliness at the photobooth!
